Membership in the Falling Rivers Gallery can be fun and rewarding. As a member you have the opportunity to market and sell your art. In addition you get to know other gallery artists while learning from and share knowledge on displaying your work, marketing, selling, and interacting with your customers. In addition to display space in the Gallery, you have the opportunity to be promoted on the internet through the website and Facebook pages, our ongoing advertisement in the Stanly News and Press, and as a wall artists through our Featured Artist display at Off The Square Restaurant.
Of course to be a member in the Gallery you must be a member in good standing of the Stanly Arts Guild. In addition your work must be evaluated by our Jury committee made up of Gallery Member volunteers. There are many responsibilities of membership listed in our Member Handbook. The Gallery is staffed by volunteers and Gallery members. Each member of the Gallery is expected to staff the Gallery no less than 2 shifts or 8 hours each month.
